Much like EMV adoption in 2015, cardholders are getting on board with contactless payments in 2020. So, how do you ensure you are ready? Let’s look at three considerations:
1. Be sure your payment solution accepts NFC payments.

New accounts must activate their talech software by December 31, 2021 to qualify. Accounts must authorize and settle a minimum of $50 of payment transactions to be considered an activation. Merchant accounts (MIDs) have to be activated and actively processing for a minimum of 30 days and be in an open status at the time of the promotional credit. A one-time credit will be applied to your Elavon statement within 30-60 days after the first deposit date.
